amongst the rolling hills of west dorset

I have always loved being outdoors, amongst nature. I have happy memories of my walks around Beaminster with my grandmother, learning about the names of plants and wildflowers. This started a lifelong love of the natural world which has led me to become a fully trained florist.

I have been working with flowers and plants for the past 10 years. I started working in a local florist shop and 2 years ago I began my own business from a studio in my garden near Bridport, surrounded by my cut flower patch.

WORKING WITH NATURE

My style is country, loose and flowing. I like to use seasonal flowers from local growers whenever possible, including flowers that I grow myself. I love adding texture and dried elements to my designs, inspired by nature and the clients I work with.

This year I am launching my new collection of eco- friendly floral designs for weddings, events and farewell flowers. I am excited to be working more with local flower farms and designing floral arrangements that do not damage our planet and that means no floral foam or single use plastics. My daily aim is to try to tread lightly on this earth.

As a trained florist, it is a real privilege being part of the local community. Just as the seasons change we experience the highs and lows of everyday life. It is a real pleasure to help people express these events through my flowers.
